I genuinely didn't expect teaching to destroy my feet like this. By lunchtime they'd already be hurting, and by the end of the day it felt like they were burning. I'd get in my car and just sit there for a minute because I didn't even want to walk inside. I've tried different shoes and inserts before, but they always felt good at first and then gave up halfway through the day.
